CHiRP Current Class:

Bridgette Reilly, SMaRT Leader


Bridgette is the National Social Media Leader for Oikocredit USA’s CHiRP (Citizens Helping in Reducing Poverty) Force.  She is a Senior at the Catholic University of America, majoring in Media Studies with a minor in Rhetoric.  Bridgette is involved in the University Honor’s Program, CUA Orientation program, and the NOVA Open Charitable Foundation.

When not interning for Oikocredit, Bridgette is avidly involved in her production interests, and is currently working on her senior documentary thesis project.  Sports really aren’t reallyher thing, but she will cheer for any DC team when they play.  After college, Bridgette intends to go to graduate school for Documentary Production.



Mihir Khubchandani


Mihir is the Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia Regional Social Media Coordinator for Oikocredit USA’s CHiRP (Citizens Helping in Reducing Poverty) Force. He is a sophomore at the George Washington University, studying for a double major in International Affairs and Economics. Mihir is a member of the new microfinancing club at GW, and is an international student ambassador with the university admissions department.

When not logged in to social media, Mihir is an avid foodie with a love for spicy Asian cuisines. He keenly follows Formula 1 racing, and is a huge Ferrari fan. After college, he intends to continue a career in international economic development and/or financial services.

  1. Hi CHiRPers! I worked with the Oiko USA DC office to help come up with the idea for the CHiRP force in 2011 and am very happy to see that you’ve got the East and West coasts covered so far.
